Adam Young

Adam Young is an award-winning pastry chef, entrepreneur, and founder of A.T.Y. Hospitality. Raised in Brandon, VT, he discovered his passion for food early and honed his craft at the New England Culinary Institute before training under renowned chefs along the East Coast.

In 2010, Adam became Executive Pastry Chef at the Forbes Five-Star Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI, leading its pastry program for six years. In 2016, he launched Sift Bake Shop in Mystic, CT, which quickly earned rave reviews and has since expanded to Watch Hill, Niantic, and Mohegan Sun. His portfolio now includes Mix Restaurant & Rooftop and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons in both Mystic and Mohegan Sun.

Named Food Network’s Best Baker in America in 2018, Adam has appeared on national television, at food and wine festivals across the country, and published his first cookbook, Adam Young’s Sift Cookbook, in 2021.

He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Ebbie, and their daughters, Stella and Eva.
