Honoring the 90th Birthday ofJacques Pépin

Considered the greatest culinary educator of our time, Jacques Pépin has dedicated the majority of his career to teaching technique by authoring over 30 cookbooks and hosting 13 public television series.

An iconic chef, author, teacher, television personality, and artist, his legendary impact has touched lives and kitchens across decades and generations.

In collaboration with chefs and restaurants spanning the nation, we will celebrate Jacques through December 2025.

We are excited to launch our biggest initiative ever: the 90/90 Dinner Series. These ticketed dinners, celebrating Jacques’ 90th birthday in 2025, are designed to generate significant support to advance our mission of improving lives through culinary education.

Most importantly, each chef and restaurant has pledged that proceeds from these exclusive events will directly benefit the Jacques Pépin Foundation, and directly support our community kitchen programs and educational videos, creating a cycle of support that empowers individuals and communities.

The Ground – Grounded Table

November 8

Join us November 8 for a joyful harvest celebration with seasonal farm-driven bites, sparkling wine from eight Willamette Valley producers, and live music. Hosted by Chef Sarah Schafer at Stillwater in McMinnville, this Jacques Pépin Foundation 90/90 Dinner Series event honors Jacques’ 90th birthday and supports accessible culinary education with a warm sense of community.

Classic French: Recipes from “The Art of Cooking” taught by Chef Vitaly

Join Chefs & Table as we celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday! This special event features a cooking class inspired by recipes from Chef Pépin’s cookbook, The Art of Cooking. Chef Vitaly Paley — who has studied and worked with Chef Pépin — will guide you through classic French techniques and foundational recipes from the book.

A 90/90 Culinary Journey

The 90/90 Celebration Campaign continued nationwide in September, bringing together communities in New York, Seattle, and Dallas. Each event offered extraordinary dining while supporting the Jacques Pépin Foundation’s mission to expand access to culinary education and empower individuals and communities.

July Round-Up

Who can resist a summertime soirée? No matter where you are in the country, the produce is never better than in the good ole summertime, and chefs love to make use of the exquisite ingredients of the season!
