Join Chef Peter Armellino at the Plumed Horse in collaboration with Chef Jarad Gallagher for an evening honoring Jacques Pépin. Begin the evening with canapes and sparkling wine, and then enjoy a five-course dinner with wine pairings, featuring a menu that celebrates the legacy of Jacques Pépin.

The Plumed Horse, under Chef Armellino’s direction, has been awarded a coveted Michelin Star consecutively each year since 2008. With Chef Gallagher’s culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and Michelin Stars under his belt throughout his restaurant career, this is sure to be a night to remember!

  • Join Chef Peter Armellino at the Plumed Horse, alongside guest Chef Jarad Gallagher, for a culinary celebration honoring the legendary Jacques Pépin. This one-night-only dinner pays homage to the legacy of Jacques Pépin in an intimate setting.

Executive Chef and Owner, The Plumed Horse

Chef Peter Armellino started cooking professionally at age 17 on Long Island, influenced by local seafood and farmland. He refined his skills over a decade in New York City, including at Gramercy Tavern, followed by a life-changing trip throughout Europe, where he dined at Michelin-starred restaurants from Paris to the Alps.

Moving to the Bay Area, he worked at Campton Place and Aqua. Since 2008, Armellino has led The Plumed Horse, presenting elegant, modern, seasonal California cuisine. Under Chef Armellino’s direction, The Plumed Horse has been awarded a coveted Michelin Star consecutively each year since 2008.

Jarad Gallagher

Chef Jarad Gallagher brings a rich background and unique perspective to his culinary journey. From his beginnings as a barista at age 14 to leading the teams in fine-dining restaurants around the world, his approach blends fine dining expertise with fundamental culinary curiosity.

He later distinguished himself in fine dining as Executive Chef at Silicon Valley’s Chez TJ, where he earned a Michelin star for eight years and established the destination as one of the top 50 restaurants in the Bay Area. His culinary journey includes Michelin stars at The Plumed Horse, One Market Restaurant, and Michael Mina, supported by training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and London and stints at top European restaurants.
