Join chef duo Jarad Gallagher and Aubree Arndt for a culinary celebration honoring the legendary Jacques Pépin. This special dinner brings together chefs reinterpreting Pépin’s iconic French dishes with bold, contemporary twists. Each course is served in pairs: the timeless original alongside our inventive version, highlighting both reverence and reinvention.
The evening begins with passed hors d’oeuvres like Galantine, Chicken Liver Mousse, Cheese Soufflé, and Squid in White Wine, then unfolds into a thoughtful progression from Lyonnaise Salad to Boeuf Bourguignon. Our globally-inspired interpretations include dishes like Grilled Chile Solterito Salad, Lomo Poutine, and Roasted Chicken with Blue Corn, Huitlacoche, and Rocoto.
Enjoy thoughtfully crafted cocktails, including zero-proof options, while immersing yourself in French jazz, Jacques Pépin videos, and live flamenco. A heartfelt homage in flavor, flair, and fire — we cook in Jacques’ honor, and in his spirit, we create anew.

- Five tasting stations throughout the restaurant will feature five of Chef Pépin’s classic dishes, alongside Chef Gallagher and Chef Arndt’s interpretation, with Latin flavors infused into the dishes.

- We close the night with a fiery finale: Crêpes Suzette, made tableside in true Pépin fashion.

Michelin-starred Chef Jarad Gallagher lends his expertise to each concept as Senior Vice President of Culinary, tapping into his distinguished culinary experience, which includes nearly a decade of leading the culinary team at the Michelin-starred Chez TJ. He works alongside Executive Chef Aubree Arndt, who traces her journey through the culinary world with a narrative as diverse and vibrant as her dishes.
Together, Chef Jarad and Chef Aubree lead the food and beverage experience at Shashi Hotel, creating a refined experience in the urban resort in Mountain View.
