Jacques Pépin painting,

Jacques Pépin painting, "A Perfect Pairing"

How do you make an original contemporary painting by Jacques Pépin twice as extraordinary? By having it hand etched and painted on a 5-liter Jeroboam of Amuse Bouche wine by renowned winemaker Heidi Barrett. The wine, crafted in the Pomerol style, is a blend of 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc from the Amuse Bouche vineyards in the east Rutherford Hills in Napa Valley. Both the painting and the bottle are signed by Jacques in this truly spectacular, one-of-a-kind offering.

This lot will be auctioned at the TORC dinner on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Jacques Pépin painting,

Poulet de Bresse

Chickens are a reoccurring theme in Jacques’ portfolio. He captures the character of the birds with his signature sense of charm and whimsy. Poulet de Bresse evokes his memories of France, where these beautiful, exceptionally flavorful chickens are prized. The fluffy white feathers, red cockscomb and blue feet are reminiscent of the French Flag!

This original acrylic painting on paper, framed with museum-quality glass, will be auctioned at the The Art of Being Jacques event on Thursday, October 30th.

Jacques Pépin painting,

Edge of Wood

Jacques is a lover of the woods, whether it’s the woods behind his Connecticut home or the forests where he forages for his favorite mushrooms after a rain with his beloved French poodle, Gaston. Jacques memorializes some of his favorite times in this original, signed and dated acrylic painting on canvas.

This painting will be auctioned as a silent auction item at the dinner at Cyrus on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Paris le Plaza Brigade

Jacques remembers his early years at the stove in this extraordinary depiction of the kitchen of the world-famous Le Plaza Athénée during the 1950s, when he left home to work in Paris. The brigade is a hierarchical system that organizes a professional kitchen staff and Jacques started at the bottom. He said “…this was a kitchen unlike any I’d worked in or ever would work in again. I felt like some kid from the minors finally striding onto the turf of Yankee Stadium.”

This original acrylic painting on paper, framed with museum-quality glass, will be auctioned in the live auction at Le Grand Pique-Nique, Saturday, October 25, 2025.
