Chefs, vintners and friends from the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome Jacques Pépin to the Napa and Sonoma Valleys as we join him in commemorating his 90th birthday with an 11-day series of special celebrations. Celebrate Jacques Pépin with twenty top Bay Area chefs at The Culinary Institute of America at COPIA for a reception, family-style dinner with celebratory wines, live auction, and a birthday cake toast.
Gathering the best chefs in Orange County, powerhouse duo chef Michael and Kwini Reed are welcoming guests into the Michelin-recognized Poppy & Seed's garden oasis for an evening of community and collaboration, recognizing the culinary excellence of Orange County and celebrating Jacques Pépin's impact on culinary education. Collaborating with beloved local chefs, Michael and Kwini's 90/90 dinner is a culinary dialogue, highlighting the bounty of Southern California through connection and friendship, sharing the gratitude and heart that goes into the best type of meals.

Jacques Pépin shares career highlights in conversation with daughter Claudine and filmmaker Peter Stein. The conversation is followed by a sparkling birthday cake reception and tasting by twelve top Bay Area pastry chefs.

Join us at Hestan Napa — a new destination for cookware, wine, and culinary innovation — for a special afternoon with legendary chef, author, and artist Jacques Pépin. Guests are invited to meet Jacques and have their copy of The Art of Jacques Pépin personally signed in celebration of his remarkable legacy.
We welcome Jacques Pépin for a special Cyrus Dining Journey, where Douglas Keane leads guests on a culinary exploration set among Sonoma County vines, with behind-the-scenes access to a Michelin restaurant.

Celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday with Chef Philip Tessier at "The MAC", featuring Champagne with canapés, a Julia Child exhibit, an exclusive selection of Penfolds wines paired with a multi-course dinner by Chef Tessier.
In this special hands-on class, three Civic Kitchen teachers explore Jacques Pépin’s influence on their cooking. Guests join small groups to prepare Pépin favorites—from Oeufs Jeanette to Chocolate Almond Cake—then share a joyous meal and depart knowing the key points of each recipe.

Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her travels through Europe, Alice B. Palm Springs is a celebration of style, creativity, and connection. This 90/90 dinner hosted by James Beard and Julia Child award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken will offer a multi-course format with optional wine pairings in honor of Jacques' 90th Birthday. For one night only, the chefs will prepare special Jacques-inspired dishes with a West Coast twist, highlighting bold yet balanced flavors, and locally sourced ingredients.
The Artisan’s Palate is a restaurant, craft cocktail/wine bar and art gallery in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte offering a globally-inspired/locally-sourced menu in a relaxed atmosphere with a focus on art and those who create it. For this special 90/90 event, Chef Christa Csoka and the husband-and-wife team Rachel Klebaur and Jose Espinosa from Orrman's Cheese Shop — all alumni and classmates from the French Culinary Institute during Jacques Pépin’s tenure as Dean — will offer a sumptuous five-course food and wine pairing. Each course will highlight the exquisite cheeses from Orrman's Cheese Shop, seamlessly blended with our French culinary heritage to showcase the profound influence of Jacques Pépin on their culinary journeys.
Join us November 8 for a joyful harvest celebration with seasonal farm-driven bites, sparkling wine from eight Willamette Valley producers, and live music. Hosted by Chef Sarah Schafer at Stillwater in McMinnville, this Jacques Pépin Foundation 90/90 Dinner Series event honors Jacques’ 90th birthday and supports accessible culinary education with a warm sense of community.
Join Chefs & Table as we celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday! This special event features a cooking class inspired by recipes from Chef Pépin’s cookbook, The Art of Cooking. Chef Vitaly Paley — who has studied and worked with Chef Pépin — will guide you through classic French techniques and foundational recipes from the book.
