Chefs, vintners and friends from the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome Jacques Pépin to the Napa and Sonoma Valleys as we join him in commemorating his 90th birthday with an 11-day series of special celebrations. This 90/90 dinner hosted by James Beard and Julia Child award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken will offer a multi-course format with optional wine pairings in honor of Jacques' 90th Birthday. For one night only, the chefs will prepare special Jacques-inspired dishes with a West Coast twist, highlighting bold yet balanced flavors, and locally sourced ingredients.

The Artisan’s Palate is a restaurant, craft cocktail/wine bar and art gallery in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte offering a globally-inspired/locally-sourced menu in a relaxed atmosphere with a focus on art and those who create it. For this special 90/90 event, Chef Christa Csoka and the husband-and-wife team Rachel Klebaur and Jose Espinosa from Orrman's Cheese Shop — all alumni and classmates from the French Culinary Institute during Jacques Pépin’s tenure as Dean — will offer a sumptuous five-course food and wine pairing. Each course will highlight the exquisite cheeses from Orrman's Cheese Shop, seamlessly blended with our French culinary heritage to showcase the profound influence of Jacques Pépin on their culinary journeys.

Join us November 8 for a joyful harvest celebration with seasonal farm-driven bites, sparkling wine from eight Willamette Valley producers, and live music. Hosted by Chef Sarah Schafer at Stillwater in McMinnville, this Jacques Pépin Foundation 90/90 Dinner Series event honors Jacques’ 90th birthday and supports accessible culinary education with a warm sense of community.

Classic French: Recipes from “The Art of Cooking” taught by Chef Vitaly

Join Chefs & Table as we celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday! This special event features a cooking class inspired by recipes from Chef Pépin’s cookbook, The Art of Cooking. Chef Vitaly Paley — who has studied and worked with Chef Pépin — will guide you through classic French techniques and foundational recipes from the book.
