Napa Valley Celebrates Jacques Pépin’s 90th Birthday

Chefs, vintners and friends from the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome Jacques Pépin to the Napa and Sonoma Valleys as we join him in commemorating his 90th birthday with an 11-day series of special celebrations. We hope that you will look over the exciting events we have planned and spend some time with us in honoring this extraordinary chef, artist, teacher and friend.

Cúrate Bar de Tapas

Asheville, NC

Experience the essence of Spain in downtown Asheville. Winner of the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Hospitality, Cúrate offers traditional Spanish tapas in a warm and lively atmosphere with an open kitchen. During the month of August, Cúrate will feature a special Jacques-inspired dish each day, with a portion of the proceeds donated to JPF.

The Sanctuary at Argenta/Comeback Kitchen

North Little Rock, AR

Comeback Kitchen is the social enterprise arm of Food Jobs Work, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating poverty through culinary workforce development. It serves as a food production enterprise for program graduates, offering catering services and retail products. Proceeds from Comeback Kitchen directly support Food Jobs Work's culinary training programs, providing opportunities for individuals to gain practical experience and support their transition into the culinary industry.

Culinary Walking Tour of Manhattan’s Chinatown Led by Grace Young

Join Grace Young, the James Beard Humanitarian of the Year and Julia Child Award recipient honored for her work to preserve America’s Chinatowns, for an intimate two-hour tasting tour through one of NYC’s most historic neighborhoods. Known as the “Stir-Fry Guru” and “accidental voice of Chinatown,” Grace will guide you to hidden gems, beloved legacy eateries, and share stories that bring the neighborhood’s rich culinary and cultural history to life.

For this special 90/90 event, enjoy Tom’s mozzarella tasting, thoughtfully paired wines, warm hospitality, and a generous family-style feast celebrating the flavors of Italy, Jacques Pépin, and a great cause.

Alsatian Autumn Celebration Dinner at Gabriel Kreuther

New York, NY

This elegant evening celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Alsace while honoring legendary chef Jacques Pépin and supporting his foundation. The celebration takes place in the stunning restaurant, Gabriel Kreuther, at the Grace Building just off Bryant Park and is hosted by two-Michelin-starred Chef Gabriel Kreuther.

Bludorn Restaurant is nestled in the heart of the Montrose neighborhood of Houston. Chef Aaron Bludorn roots himself in the Gulf serving New American, French-inspired fare with passion and integrity. The menus are comprised of seasonally rotating dishes, global wines, and handcrafted cocktails served in this neighborhood landmark. For this 90/90 dinner event, chef Ashley Christensen and guests chef Sarah Grueneberg and chef Jason Stanhope will offer a multi-course format with wine pairings.
