Peter Armellino

Chef Peter Armellino started cooking professionally at age 17 on Long Island, influenced by local seafood and farmland. He refined his skills over a decade in New York City, including at Gramercy Tavern, followed by a life-changing trip throughout Europe, where he dined at Michelin-starred restaurants from Paris to the Alps.

Moving to the Bay Area, he worked at Campton Place and Aqua. Since 2008, Armellino has led The Plumed Horse, presenting elegant, modern, seasonal California cuisine. Under Chef Armellino’s direction, The Plumed Horse has been awarded a coveted Michelin Star consecutively each year since 2008.
