Jennifer Felton

Jennifer Felton grew up in San Mateo, CA and went on to study dance at California State University, Long Beach. After building a career in dance during the better part of a decade in New York, Felton went on to study pastry at the French Culinary Institute. After graduation, she joined Pastry Chef Mark Welker’s opening team at The NoMad (NYC).

Upon returning to the Bay Area, she had the opportunity to work Shawn Gawle at Saison, which later led her to her current home with Michael and Linsday Tusk at Quince, Cotogna and Verjus.

In 2019 she was named a San Francisco Rising Star by Starchefs.com and became an official Gelatiere while studying at Carpigiani University in Italy. Her passion for gelato will be fully realized with the opening of Bar Coto early next year.
