Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz
Dalida is run by husband-wife duo Laura Ozyilmaz and Sayat Ozyilmaz, who were also behind Istanbul Modern. Hailing from Mexico and Turkey respectively, chefs Laura and Sayat met as students at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and went on to hone their craft at acclaimed restaurants Eleven Madison Park and Del Posto in NYC, as well as Saison and Mourad in San Francisco.
Most recently, Chef Laura competed on Bravo’s Top Chef and Chefs Laura and Sayat were named ‘Chefs of the Year’ by San Francisco Magazine.

The team sources locally, reduces waste through full ingredient use, and collaborates with artists. Influenced by Istanbul’s diverse legacy, Dalida tells a story of connection—Turkish, Greek, Armenian, Jewish, Arabic, and Persian—rooted in San Francisco’s welcoming spirit. For this special 90/90 event, Dalida will offer a selection of Jacques Pépin's recipes prepared with an Eastern Mediterranean pantry.
