Napa Valley Celebrates Jacques Pépin’s 90th Birthday

Chefs, vintners and friends from the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome Jacques Pépin to the Napa and Sonoma Valleys as we join him in commemorating his 90th birthday with an 11-day series of special celebrations. We hope that you will look over the exciting events we have planned and spend some time with us in honoring this extraordinary chef, artist, teacher and friend.

Mason Street Grill

Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee's top chefs will gather for one night at the historic Pfister Hotel's Grand Ballroom to honor Jacques Pepin, raise funds to benefit his foundation and celebrate his 90th Birthday. Each Chef will serve one great item from a table in this gourmet walk-around. There will also be a special Silent Auction. Jacques will join us via video for a special toast.

Chai Pani Decatur invites you to celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday with a tribute dinner prepared by Sahar Siddiqi and Gabriel Johnson, hosted by Meherwan and Molly Irani. For this special 90/90 event, Chef Shaya celebrates Jacques Pépin's 90th birthday with an exquisite five-course dinner featuring specialty dishes like Fromage Forte on Melba Toast, Crab Gratin, Filet and Short Rib en Crépinette, Parisian Gnocchi, Crêpe Suzette with Creole cream cheese ice cream and more.

Culinary Hub of Providence/Genesis Center

Celebrate culinary excellence at the Culinary Hub of Providence with a special dinner benefiting the Jacques Pépin Foundation and Genesis Center. Hosted by Chef Joshua Riazi, the evening begins with a cocktail hour featuring petit fours crafted by Chef Beau Vestal of New Rivers, and Jaques favorite — bourbon — cocktails created by CHOP beverage director Sophie Syzch, followed by a globally inspired four-course dinner. CHOP chefs Joshua Davis and Matthew Weston, in collaboration with talented culinary students from the Genesis Center, will present a multi-course menu highlighting coastal New England ingredients reimagined through Rhode Island’s rich global influences.

Sunday Soirée at DANIEL

Since opening in 1993, DANIEL has earned its place among the pillars of New York City’s bustling dining scene, receiving numerous accolades for its refined European cuisine, world-class cellar and gracious hospitality. Located in the former Mayfair Hotel on Park Avenue – the original site of Le Cirque – DANIEL is steeped in French culinary history. Join us here on April 6 for a special 90/90 dinner series event. JPF Members will receive early access to tickets on January 15.

Enjoy an evening of exquisite food and wine honoring the legacy of Chef Jacques Pepin. Dominick Purnomo and Culinary Director Ian O'Leary will welcome guests with a Champagne reception with canapés before inviting guests into the dining room to enjoy a wonderful 4 course dinner with wine pairings by Managing Partner & Head Sommelier Josh Turo.

Authentic, regional Italian cooking and seasonal availability is the inspiration for Chef Amy Brandwein’s menu at Centrolina. The Osteria features a frequently-rotating menu, comprised of traditional Italian categories such as antipasti, pasta, a lenga (from the terracotta-clad wood oven), contorni and dolce. For this 90/90 dinner, Centrolina will offer a special 4-course dinner.

This special evening will celebrate their love for cooking as they create a menu inspired by their childhoods, their connection to Italy, and their admiration for Jacques Pépin and his mentorship.

River Bar has joined the Jacques Pépin Foundation as an official host of one of Jacques’ 90th birthday celebrations in the Jacques Pépin Foundation’s 90/90 Dinner Series fundraising campaign! We are beyond excited that Jacques will be joining us for this event! And for this celebratory dinner, Chef James Wayman has created a menu that highlights our local farms and providers.
